- Routes water between two internal connection points during the wash cycle
- Helps maintain a watertight seal when properly clamped
- Common symptoms: water leaking beneath the unit, dampness around hose joints, visible cracks/hardening, or a loose fit
- Aging hoses can stiffen and drip at barbed fittings
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Remove the toe-kick and pull the dishwasher forward as needed to access the hose
- Expect a small amount of residual water; have towels or a shallow pan ready
- Fully seat the hose on fittings, secure with appropriate clamps, then run a brief cycle and check for leaks

The Drain Hose is an OEM part for Frigidaire dishwashers. This part ensures that water flows smoothly and consistently out of the dishwasher after each wash and rinse cycle, preventing backflow, leaks, and potential water damage.
Causes of a bad Drain Hose can range from physical damage, such as cracks or punctures that occur over time or through misuse, to clogs formed by food particles or grease that restrict water flow.
Symptoms of a malfunctioning Drain Hose include:
- Water not draining properly from the dishwasher, leading to standing water after cycles
- Leaks detected around the dishwasher, which may indicate cracks or holes in the hose
- Kinking or blockage within the hose that impedes water flow
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

Fridge water system froze in storage Travis L. • Hemlock , MI • January 16, 2016
I had to replace all the water lines and valves because they were cracked or just simply blown apart. This last part was the final piece (and the most expensive) to get it back up and running. Tried going the cheap route and purchased waterline from another site that claimed the tube diameter was the same as what i needed, got the line installed it and had waterfalls everywhere (nice mess). The cheap line was 2/1000 of an inch too small and didnt seal in the quick connects. Was not happy, so...
