After an internet search, the likely problem was a faulty "Element Switch.." I actually unplugged the stove and removed the switch (I did NOT disconnect the wires). I obtained the part number on the switch, disassembled it, observed that the contacts were highly degraded, reassembled the switch and reinstalled it back into the stove. This all provided confidence the SWITCH was faulty.

Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. 1) Ordered part.
2) Removed front panel by loosening the two screws at the bottom front.
3) Removed old Safety Switch/Lid Lock by disconnecting wires (plug and 2 female disconnects)
4) Reconnected all wires and reinstalled switch.
5) Replaced front panel.
6) Tested Unit.
7) FYI - I found that the locking mechanism stays locked until cycle completely finishes on its own. DO NOT force the cycle to end. Lid will NOT unlock.
