Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. Part Number: 808608801
This spark module powers the surface-burner ignition on gas ranges and cooktops. It generates high-voltage pulses to the electrodes so the burners spark and light when a knob is turned, restoring quick, consistent ignition.
- Sends high-voltage pulses to each surface burner igniter when a burner switch is turned on
- Centralizes spark for multiple burners; a failure often affects more than one burner
- Common symptoms: no clicking/spark on any burners, multiple burners won't light, weak or intermittent spark, continuous clicking from the ignition system
- Helps restore reliable lighting without using matches
What's included: One spark module assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas before servicing
- Note wire locations; transfer leads one at a time to matching terminals on the new module
- Mount securely in the original position and ensure proper grounding
- After installation, verify spark at each burner before restoring full operation
Diagnostic tip: If only a single burner won't spark, inspect that burner's igniter electrode and the burner switch harness—spark module issues typically impact multiple burners.

What's included: One oven spark igniter assembly as pictured Installation notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing
- Access the burner area, note wire routing, and handle the ceramic insulator carefully
- Position the electrode tip at the specified gap to the burner per service literature
- Test for proper spark and burner ignition after reassembly

The ignitor had gone out on our oven Jared P. • Stonewall , LA • August 09, 2015
We ordered a new ignitor and it came in two days just as promised. The only problem that we experienced was that the leads on the new ignitor were to short. We were able to find enough slack on the oven end to make it work. The oven is once again working great. The video was a little off on what need to be done to disconnect the ignitor. We actually had to flip the oven over to get to the bottom. We could not access the connector through the back.
