The Broil Element is an OEM part for Whirlpool wall ovens and ranges. This heating element is responsible for the broiling function of the oven.
Located at the top of the oven cavity, the broil element functions by directing intense radiant heat downward to cook and brown food from above.

Cut off power ,inside I remove the two back screws, remove the two front screws with hangers. Pull element out, clip wires so they don't fall back in holes with clothes pins. worked good. But wire connection to the broiler was to large, had to replace connectors, wire fell in hole, had to pull wall oven out and remove back panel. I then mounted the new element to oven.
