I was able to clean the Oven Temp Sensor with 99% alcohol. Then replaced All switches (after breaker was isolated). Put it all back the way I found it. Turned on breaker. Tested all functions and had no reports of Fan Code re-appearing since. Read more

• Little to no heat when broiling

Cut off power ,inside I remove the two back screws, remove the two front screws with hangers. Pull element out, clip wires so they don't fall back in holes with clothes pins. worked good. But wire connection to the broiler was to large, had to replace connectors, wire fell in hole, had to pull wall oven out and remove back panel. I then mounted the new element to oven. Replaced connectors ,connected connectors, closed back panel, put oven in place ,connected power lines. Turned power on. Works... Read more

Changing out the stovetop orifices from natural gas to propane- First thing, turn off the gas. On this model stove, there are five burners-two burners in the front, two in the back and one in the middle. The front two burners are different than the other three, they are the largest burners. You can use a 11/32 socket with an extension to go down the middle hole of the burner and screw-out the natural gas orifices. Taking the orifices out was easy. Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Watched the how to video and it was good information. You should be observant about which openings in the back of the oven as to where the two wires are coming out of. My oven is over 12 years... • Door won't open or close

The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy.
