We found a video on how to change out the glass and looked fairly easy. My husband, being the skeptic that he is, wasn't on board as readily as I was but we tried it regardless. To his surprise in about 30 minutes we did it! So easy and a big thanks to Appliances Parts Pros for the part. We had the new part in 1 1/2 days...I was expecting it to be delivered in 5 days! My Whirlpool stove had two power burners in the front. I don’t need two so I bought the same parts like the back burner. Your website explained that I need the burner valve also. It went very easily. The two original clips were riveted in the top but a small drill bit cut the last of the rivit free and the clips remainders just fell out. There was no damage to the stop top. The butner simply snaps in to its socket so that was easy to replace. Pulled the old one out and put in the new one. Read more

I ordered new elements and connection blocks, ripped out the old ones and installed the new ones. The ordered parts came in quickly and were exactly what I ordered. The most difficult part of the repair was cutting through the little screws that had rusted and corroded over the decades.
