This replacement oven door hinge is engineered for stainless-steel door assemblies. It restores smooth opening and a tight seal, helping the oven heat efficiently while keeping the door closed and the light off. What it does:
- Supports the door's weight and controls opening/closing tension
- Draws the door fully closed to compress the gasket and retain heat
- Helps prevent door sagging, slamming, or uneven alignment
- Common failure symptoms: door won't close fully, heat escaping, poor temperature regulation, door won't stay shut, or oven light stays on
What's included:
- One oven door hinge assembly
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool completely before servicing
- Remove the door per your model's instructions; engage hinge locks or insert removal pins if provided
- Support the door and hinge arms—springs are under tension; transfer any reusable hardware
- After installation, verify the door closes evenly and seals against the gasket
