Replaced the hinges after watching YouTube video. Read more

I removed the screws inside the oven door and the retainer rings holding the handle onto the glass. I then replaced the handle put on new retainer rings and used the new screws provided and re-attached the handle and glass to the door. Total fix time 10 minutes. I was impressed by the quick delivery of my new handle and the fact that they sent new hardware as well. My oven was only down for three and a half days , only because it happened on the weekend. I simply replaced the knobs. Just frustrating because this small part surrounding metal rod to attach knobs is obviously defective and should be improved by Kitchen Aid. Read more

Check the power cord connection to the stove and found burned cable due to loose connection. Replaced the terminal and the nuts and installed a new power cord. Read more

I had to take out the bottom drawer that holds pans. Disconnect the power and pull the oven out. Removed door, rear panel that held the screws for the side panel and lift up and out the side panel. After that it was straight forward as to replacing the hinge. Spent more time cleaning the florr where the oven was than installing the hinge. Read more

Simple. Just pulled out the old and popped in the new. Rangetop looks much better, though grates and burner rings (no longer available) could use repainting with heat resistant enamel or some other treatment. Read more

• Door won't close

This oven was a Kenmore model #66595822003. I replaced both spring hinges. This oven was a white oven so it took the MFG# WP8053807 hinge (order two of them). They are the same hinge. No left or right. To get the door off the oven, open the door all the way open, I installed pins (preferably only 1/4" long) in the holes of both hinges. Then remove the spring steel retainers above old hinges in the oven frame. These holds hinges in place. Now close the door until hinge stops on pins. Lift up... Read more

Looked at YouTube on how to replace burner. Marked wires on each fitting with different color marker and took Ipad photo of underside while my wife held range top up. We had shut off range double breaker in basement. I took part to a local appliance parts house nd they ordered prt which they did not have in stock. Estimate 3days. We found a video on how to change out the glass and looked fairly easy. My husband, being the skeptic that he is, wasn't on board as readily as I was but we tried it regardless. To his surprise in about 30 minutes we did it! So easy and a big thanks to Appliances Parts Pros for the part. We had the new part in 1 1/2 days...I was expecting it to be delivered in 5 days!
