This is a control knob for a range surface burner that attaches to the burner valve stem on the control panel. It allows you to adjust the flame or heat level of the stovetop burner. Replace this knob if it is cracked, loose on the stem, or if the markings have worn off, making it difficult to set the correct temperature.

This is a stainless steel finish control knob that mounts on the front panel of the range to adjust a surface burner's flame or heat level. Turned off 40 Amp breaker. Removed shelves from oven. Removed two screws in back panel holding element in place. Slowly pulled element free making sure wires stayed attached and not lost in oven insulation. Removed two wires from old element. Attached wires to new element. Pushed wires back into oven rear wall. Reinstalled the previously removed two screws. Turned on breaker. Total time less than 10 minutes. Read more
