This genuine OEM air filter assembly is a complete unit that aids in filtering the air that comes into the engine while the trimmer is in use. The plastic housing protects a foam filter that catches dust and debris. Over time, air filters become clogged with regular use and are usually replaced as a part of routine maintenance. In the event that the air cover or base becomes damaged, however, a replacement of the entire assembly may be needed. This part can do the job for compatible machines. This OEM air filter assembly is manufactured by MTD and meets exact standards for original equipment manufacturing. It is compatible with many trimmers from MTD and Craftsman. The replacement of the air filter assembly requires a screwdriver to remove the mounting screws of the old base and secure the new unit in place. Be sure to allow the engine to cool completely before doing any repairs. Since air filters are known to clog, it may be a good idea to purchase an extra one to have on hand in case of emergencies. This is sold as an individual unit and includes the foam filter along with the plastic housing.

Flange bearing for lawn tractors and snow blowers. Replace if you notice excessive noise, vibration, or rough wheel rotation. Verify fit with your model.
A ball bearing is a common type of rolling-element bearing. It will use balls to keep space between the bearing races and eliminate friction and contact between moving parts. Ball bearings used in lawn and garden equipment ensure that axial loads and radial loads are evenly supported and that there is only a limited amount of rotational friction on the component. It distributes weight evenly, but will undergo constant wear and tear from vibration, heat, and friction and will need replacement regularly. This ball bearing is a genuine OEM part suited to use in Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, MTD, Huskee, Yard Machines, Bolens, Mastercut, and Yard-Man equipment. It may be needed for repair work done on a lawnmower, snowblower, tiller, edger, or a log splitter.
