Very simple to remove pump spring clamps and reattach new one. Because I was replacing hoses I didn't remove old ones at the pump. Reattaching the new outlet hose required me to purchase a new hose clamp (hose did not come with one) as old one used the pinch style and I prefer the screw/nut driver kind. Job took about 10 minutes once cabinet removed. Full disclosure: I had removed cabinet several years ago for a different repair and knew the ropes.
Furthermore, if one can avoid removing the panel and cabinet do so. It requires an hour or so to clear space in cramped quarters, release the screws/spring clamps, lift off and store the cabinet in a larger room, and then reverse the process. Access is available underneath but space and weight of machine make this a riskier proposition.
I ultimately found out the leak (not totally isolated) is in the wall probably the result of a drain pipe freeze over winter. However, I now have new drain pump and tub/outlet hoses at a very reasonable price and FAST service.
