Washer was my mother-in-laws Whirlpool that is at least 15 years old. From your website figured it was likely the direct drive motor coupling. Given the age of the machine and not wanting to order one part and have it be something else, I skimmed through the top parts that might also be involved. Since we were needing to tear it down we decided to replace several parts and get a 'newer' washer. My wife did most of the work replacing the parts. We replaced the motor coupling which WAS broken. In addition we replace the agitator dogs (very rounded over), clutch assembly (also near its end of life), pump and water inlet valve. The videos were very helpful. The washer is much quieter while operating and agitates and spins better. Will be back to AppliancePartsPro.com when the next appliance has issues.
