Estate Heating Element

• No heat or not enough heat

After 22 years my Kenmore (Whirlpool) dryer stopped getting hot. So I went ahead and reviewed the videos and figured I could repair it myself. The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. My wife was using the oven and she shouted "emergency, oven fire" as i was half asleep in the reclining chair (I will be 86 in Oct.) Since the dryer was 24 years old I opted to replace all the possible problem components, instead of just the bad one. The parts aren't that expensive and do to their age I figured it was worth it to avoid having to go back into the dryer in a few months. I got my model number and contacted Appliance Parts Pros and placed my order for the new elements, terminal blocks, and for appearance purposes 4 new Drip Pans. Excellent service and quick shipping. Replace burner and receptacle. The product arrived promptly after order and the receptacle came in a factory Whirlpool bag, indicating it was a genuine Whirlpool part. The burner did not have such identification, but works very good. I've placed 3 orders with these folks for various broken appliances, and each one has worked as advertised and performs like new. It was very easy caled up ordered the part no prblem got it in 3 days.Got a phillips screw driver removed the top of the stove took out the old one a put in the new one had it fixed within minutes very easy diy no need to pay someone alot of money for this easy fix. Read more

Open oven door removed 2 screws to lift up top then remove 1 screw at back of burner assy to let right side burner assy drop down to replace then remove wires be sure to write down where wires go look on bottom side for location of wire plugs new burner plugs may be located in different location mine was then install new burner assy Read more
