I suspected the start-relay and tested it due to the lint plugged condenser coils. The start-relay rattled when shook, a telling sign it is no good due to over heating. I simply removed the two screws securing the control box in place, disconnected the two wiring harnesses and removed the entire assembly from the refrigerator.
