Used U-Tube diagnostic clips to diagnose that most likely problem was a worn Evaporator Fan Motor which is located in the freezer back wall, located in the top third of the unit. I removed 6 hex head screws from the freezer's interior back panel that covers the evaporator coils. The cover is located in the lower 2/3s of the back wall. Removed all shelving. Removed the back cover to access the fan area. Clean the area with brush and vac first. Unplugged the Refrigerator. Used a socket set with 1/4" socket. Had an extended and a standard socket. Removed the condensate plastic drain from the bottom of the refrigerator to have more access to the fan. Unplugged the fan motor. Removed the two screws holding the fan in place. • Ice maker won't dispense ice

Plastic drum was broken and wasn't pushing the ice through the crusher teeth. Received my part pronto and made the repair. Was an easy fix, took about 15 min from start to finish. Tried to put refrigerator in defrost mode and defrost would not initiate. Checked the bi-metal and heater, both tested good. Replaced the ADC board and refrigerator went in to defrost. problem solved. Read more
