This is a water inlet valve that controls the flow of water into the washing machine during fill cycles. It is an electrically operated valve that opens and closes to allow hot or cold water into the tub as directed by the control board. Replace this valve if your washer is not filling with water, filling slowly, leaking from the back, or continuing to fill when it should stop.

Fix dishwasher overfilling or not filling with water by replacing the float assembly. Common issue with sticky buildup preventing proper operation.
I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing.
