It's was easy to replace. Unplugged the oven from the wall, unscrew the two screws that hold the element to the back of the oven and pulled it away from the oven. Then just pull off the two wires at the end of the bake element. Install the new one in the revers order, easy. Read more

Ordered the replacement part the recommended by your parts department. I then watched a video so I knew what was in Store. The part arrived in less than 2 days & 15 minutes later I was baking brownies!!!!! Voila!!! Done deal!!! Now I am going to order a second one to replace the lower oven's element since it's been 'off' for over a year. Turned off the oven power at the breaker box. Removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the front support bracket and removed the front support bracket. (This bracket is necessary as the broiler element is in the top of the oven) Then I removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the element against the back of the oven, gently pulled the element away from the back of the oven to expose and unplug the (slip on) electrical connections, and removed the burned out element. Replaced the entire burner. Four screws to remove front hinged pane lon front of stove One screw on each end of support bar for burners, Two clips holding burner on support bar. Two connections to burner. Four connections to thermostat.Remove all and replace in reverse order. New part requires one jumper wire on burner. Read more

Originally, we had mistakenly provided the wrong model number for our Frigidaire cooktop so the wrong part was sent to us. It didn't fit properly so we investigated the problem with one of the customer service reps at Appliance Parts Pro and finally resolved the situation. I watched a few video's online to see how others had fixed it, then I tried to do research on the element part number. Appliance Parts Pro's were very helpful.
