This cap tower upper is the replacement cover piece for the top of the dispenser/tower assembly. It restores the finished fit and alignment of the tower so the dispenser components sit correctly and look complete. What it does

Very easy repair. Remove front door bottom panel (3 lowest screws from inside of door on left side and right side with #2 Philips screwdriver). Then remove 2 screws on bottom of door with socket set, I believe 1/4". I also used a mirror so I could see what I was doing.
