Burner won't spark or ignite? This ignition switch controls the spark module for gas range surface burners. Mounts on the valve assembly behind knobs.
Rather than replacing the whole ignition switch harness, I cut out the broken switch and replaced it with Burner Ignition Switch WB24K10017 / AP2632529. Wire stripper, small wire nuts, and electrical tape were also used. At first, the new switch was constantly on when the knob was in the off position. The gas valve shaft has a "U" shape. Did the work myself fairly simple removed drip pans and replaced fit perfectly and got a nut driver removed two screws from coil unhooked wires threw out old one and replaced with new one plugged wires on ends and screwed back in and bake coil also fit perfectly now my oven looks and works like new!
