1) Unplug the range and move it out from the wall so both the front and back are accessible. 2) Remove the control panel. There are two screws in the front, one under each end. Rather than replacing the whole ignition switch harness, I cut out the broken switch and replaced it with Burner Ignition Switch WB24K10017 / AP2632529. Wire stripper, small wire nuts, and electrical tape were also used. At first, the new switch was constantly on when the knob was in the off position. The gas valve shaft has a "U" shape.
