The front burner supports were disengaged from the element this is what prompted to replace the burner Thomas M. • Osterville , MA • July 14, 2015
Removed the defective burner labeled the leads as to their location and coil connections. Replaced the connections to the corresponding locations, 1 to 1, 2 to 2 and the bridged terminal as it was. I noticed that the coils in the replacement burner were not wound in the same direction as the original burner and made note of this. I did not think much of this at the time, but on turning the power back on and lighting up the burners I noticed up they were not lighting up the corresponding...

Discolored burner rings and missing oven timer/clock knobs on 30 year old ge electric stove Edward S. • Marietta , OH • December 05, 2015
Replaced above parts, easy to do, looks like a new stove. Needed to pry open knob stem slot segments very slightly to remove broken plastic from previous knobs. Spreading stem slot metal sides too much and they will break. With slots cleaned out, pinch stem sides almost together for new knobs to slide on. Customer service rep was helpful and parts delivery was next day as promised. Before contacting Appliance Parts Pros, I found their on-line customer reviews were much better than their...

The clock/timer on my range stopped working Karen F. • Hanover , PA • January 07, 2019
Removed the front off the back panel, unplugged the old unit. Then using a blow dryer heated the old timer to peel the face /cover off and applied to the new clock. Plugged in the replacement clock. Replaced the front of the range.
The only complaint I have is we were not informed that a new face would not be included and the old one would have to be removed and applied to the replacement clock. The face that was on the orginal clock has the buttons to set the clock and timer reversed from...

This replacement part is a high-limit thermostat, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. This high-limit thermostat is typically found in dryers and controls the heat inside the drying tub. This is especially important as different dryer settings require different amounts of heat. If the high limit thermostat works properly, the temperature inside the tub should reach the correct amount during each drying cycle with no issues. A new high-limit thermostat might be needed if the user notices that the dryer is unable to reach the appropriate level of heat for a certain drying cycle. This is also true if the dryer is becoming too hot when the heat is supposed to be set to low. Make sure the dryer is cooled down prior to replacing this part as the areas in the back of the dryer can become very hot during use. Be sure to reference the specific user manual for more instructions on how to replace the thermostat. This thermostat is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part. The thermostat is sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Element temperature would only work on high and there was no adjustment to the heat Joann S. • Lennox , SD • October 26, 2015
Ordered the element control for my dual front right burner and a infinite heat switch for my left front large single burner. Removed cooktop and followed the instructions video given with the parts online. Process was simple and everything on my cooktop is working like it is brand new. The only problem I have is with the online chat, save time by calling in and talking to someone as the people I talked to online (4 of them) are in such a hurry to get to the next call they gave conflicting part...

I went online and after calling her two or three times to find out the model number of her GE range, I placed the order. It was a breeze ordering the part once got the correct information and the part came in three days and she has it and all is well.

It smell really bad then i noticed that the terminal block was burning and it cause the surface unit asm bad Chushan H. • West Valley City , UT • October 21, 2014
I took the old Terminal block out and put the new one back in. it's about 15 minutes job. it was a really simple thing to do.
I don't know why it always get the Terminal Block burn in every 3 or 4 months. I have to replace it all the times. I am very disappoint about the Electric Stove. The brand I have, is Hotpoint. I think about changing to Gas Stove instead soon.

Ge refrigerator part Sandra G. • Bryant , AR • September 01, 2015
I found AppliancePartsPros.com while surfing the web and made my call; knowing nothing about the site or company. In a nutshell, I do not know if the price I paid for the item was competitive, but the representative I spoke to was extremely knowledgeable; helped me locate the part I needed immediately; and completed the entire transaction in which seemed like 60 seconds. The part arrived 2 days later and was EXACTLY what I needed and a PERFECT match to the other shelves in my refrigerator...
