Jenn-Air Cooktop Parts

We recently purchased a house with Jenn-Air appliances. The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased. The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon. Read more

The problem was partly caused because the original legs were at full extension. The replacement legs were longer than the originals and were more secure at the needed length. I ordered a replacement burner from AppliancePartsPros.com and replaced it using a u-tube video to find out how to do it. I took pictures of the wiring before I took it apart and then removed the burner element from the glass tom, but I left all the wires attached. I screwed the new element to the glass top and then one by one I unhooked each wire from the broken element and then hooked them each back onto the corresponding place on the new element. The burner lit when I used a lighter so figured it was electrical. There were only 2 electrical components so I first tried replacing the block terminal. This did it, very simple and saved $250 on a whole new unit. Read more

I first tested and replaced the temperature sensor. Since this is a slide-in range, I managed to pull it out just enough to access the back without disconnecting the downdraft and gas line. (For wall models this would not be the case.) Unfortunately, that did not do it. Next I replaced the lower heating element because it was a little below the ohms level it should be at. No go. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. I found this website and was surprised that I could replace drip pans, grates, and knobs. It was at my door the next day after ordering! It took longer to open the box and unwrap the pieces than it did to put the new pieces on. My stovetop looks brand new and I am very happy! Read more
