All I needed was to disconnect power at range breaker box, grab a screwdriver to lift top open, a 16 inch or so piece of old 2×4 wood to keep the top top of stove lifted, so I could access heating elements from underneath. First, it was going to cost $95 for an appliance guy just to look at it! I replaced the hinge due to the hinge spring breaking. To replace the hinge you do the following: 1. Disconnect power to stove, either at circuit box or at outlet. 2. Lift door off of outside hinge arms ; no screws are used to attach the door to the hinge 3. Remove two screw on under side of cook top, one on each side. 4. Disconnect cook top connector. 5. Lift cook top off 6. Remove screws from top rail of stove that hold the side panel. 7. Remove the screw on the back that hold the side... Read more

We recently purchased a house with Jenn-Air appliances. The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased. The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon. Read more

Ordered new cook top, arrived in 2days. Replacement was very easy. Part was perfect fit and had same markings as factory top. Repair only required a philips head screwdriver. Removed 8 screws holding top on, lifted front up and unplugged two electrical connectors, them removed top. Flipped top over and removed the four burners (8 screws). Moved burners to new top, installed 8 screws, set top on stove, reattach electrical connectors, then reinstall 8 screws to hold the top on. Only issue I... Read more

I have a Jenn-Air microwave that didn't turn on and had no lights. It just stopped working completely. I unplugged the unit and had to remove the rear cover using a *security screw kit* that prevents people from opening the rear panel. Once opened, I removed the fuse and testing it with an OHM reader to determine that the fuse went bad. • Door won't open or close

The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy.
