Oven won't heat to set temperature or display shows error codes? This electronic control board manages bake/broil circuits and clock functions. DIY repair.
This OEM replacement part is an oven control board. The oven control board is the primary computer circuit board that controls the main functions of the oven. These functions include turning the oven on as well as adjusting and maintaining the temperature of the oven. Luckily, replacing a control board is a simple process. To replace the board, first, make sure the oven is unplugged. Gain access to the back of the oven and remove the upper back panel. Once the panel is removed, locate the old control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires by taking a photo with a phone camera. Disconnect the wire harness and any individual wires that are attached to the old board. Re-secure the wires into their correct positions. Snap the new board back in place and reinstall the upper back panel. This genuine replacement control board is compatible with Frigidaire Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.

Oven won't heat, wrong element activates, or temperature swings wildly? This control board regulates heating circuits and display. Moderate DIY repair.
1. I ordered a new burner. It didn't fix it. 2. I ordered a new burner switch. It didn't fix it. But still needed to be replaced because I cold see itt had burned out. 3. I checked the wires to the burner, then to the switch, they were all fine. I probably should have done this first. My last possible solution was the simmer switch board. I couldn't visually see any points of failure but it really was my last resort before calling a repair man or buying a new stove. 4. I ordered new... Read more

This electronic oven control board governs your range's heating functions and displays the time and timer. Replacing a failed board restores reliable bake/broil operation, accurate temperature control, and a responsive clock/timer interface. What it does:
Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer. Read more
Range won't power on, clock or controls aren't working? The electronic control board manages all oven functions. DIYers report plug-and-play install.
The display of the control worked, so one might not question it but there is nothing else that would simply shutdown while heating. This part came faster than a 'technician' and 5 sheet metal screws and 4 mounting screws later, the new unit was installed. The only delay was the waiting for the oven to reach full temp to verify that it was working - it is. The parts places try to sell a new membrane panel ( adhered display cover (numbers and labels) for these but the old one can be removed... Read more

Microwave won't turn on, made popping noise, or smells like burned electrical? The noise filter often fails when solder joints arc or short out.
When using the microwave it made a frying sound and completely stopped working. Took cover off (after unplugging) and found filter coil solder joints fried. Took a chance on replacing filter. Works perfectly now. Looking at the solder joints again, under magnification, discovered they were not done properly in the first place. Use caution with cover off, there is a capacitor near the filter that could prove dangerous. Also need tamper proof torx bit to remove 2 of the cover screws, or small... Read more
