Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. Searched the web and determined it was something called a noise filter. Ordered the part from ApplianceParts Pros. Received it in about 3 days, normal shipping. Replaced the part. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish. Problem solved. Cost less than $50. Read more

I checked continuity at the float switch since I knew the inlet valve was working when direct wired to 120v. Switch did not have continuity. Replaced switch and inlet valve worked at start of cycle. Read more

First tried replacing the seal around the door as that was the simple and most logical fix. Still leaked. Removed the front and upper panel to inspect. Found calcium deposit running down from under the Air Vent Assembly and wet behind the black stick-on insulation. Easy to trace the leak to the bottom of the door. => Ordered new Air Vent Assembly, gasket and Vent Deflector. Parts arrived. Took 5 minutes to remove upper panel. • Not drying dishes properly

Turned off power to dishwasher. Removed front bottom cover of dishwasher and removed the wires going to each end of the heating element. unscrewed the two nuts holding the faulty heating element in place. Then removed bottmo dish rack and spinning washer arm from inside the dishwasher. Removed old heating element and replaced with new one. Installed in reverse order (tightened two nuts, connected wires, etc.). Turned power on as last step and was off and running...or should I say washing. Read more

Purchased door springs from Appliance Parts pros.com, installed them and door on our Dishwasher was back to normal, Had to pull out dishwasher from under cupboard to get to springs, as they were on the sides of the dishwasher. Read more

The door cables attach to springs that help the user open/close the dishwasher door. I attached the new door cables to the springs then attached springs to the intended mounting locations on the door. However, the new cables were shorter than the originals. This created enough tension in the springs to cause the door to close by itself. I was forced to change the springs' mounting locations. Replaced sump because the seal is not sold separately. You will need a skinny clamp after cutting the original swaged clamp off. Also Had to replace the cover as its seal is not sold separately either. Used dish soap on seals during assembly. Read more
