Replace cracked, broken, or shattered inner door glass on your oven. Installs between door panels in the window frame assembly. Reuses existing frame.
Removed 3 screws on top of door, 3 screws on bottom if door which released glass front. Then removed 4 nuts on sheet metal window cover to get to window. To get to the broken glass there was one tab on the corner of the window frame that had to be bent upward to loosen the frame. Removed the broken glass, slid in the new glass, re tightened the frame and put everything back together. Obtained the part from Appliance Parts Pros. It was on national back order but was shipped exactly at the time we were told it would be. The old frame was easy to take off by removing 5 set screws. The glass front from the old frame had to be removed. This was a little tricky since it was held in place by stationary clips.
