• Little to no heat when broiling

I wanted to get the upper oven baking element replaced; it hasn't been working for a few months. This double oven has had two other issues, there is a fan that comes on to cool the electronics panel, That fan has made excessive noise and it operates for 2-3 hours after the oven turns off. The other problem with the oven is the Self-Cleaning feature runs for about 15-30 minutes and then turns off with an error code. • Door stuck closed

Turn off breaker, remove all screws { 4 on mine } inside oven door holding oven and microwave to kitchen cabinet and slide oven assembly out of cabinet {on to a temporary shelf of {4} 5 gallon buckets/plywood/bricks/shims that I made on the floor atop a scrap of carpet} just enough to access the side and rear screws of microwave's protective metal housing, then remove a total of 16 screws { there were 2 screws just inside top of "opened" microwave door that were holding top flat silver metal... When I moved in to my new house I noticed there was no regulator, and the gas line was copper tubing. I ordered a regulator and ran 40 of trac pipe to make it up to code. Hooking up the regulator was easy. Read more

Removed stove top then removed burner pan. Took out insulation on the top and sides of the oven. Cleaned top of oven well and replaced old insulation with the new blanket purchased from applianceParts pros. Read more

After talking to the tech support people and telling them that the bake element and temp. probe were new and still had the same problem. They said it sound like the control board was bad. They were very helpful. After replacing the control board the problem was fixed. Very good service from the parts dept. and prompt delivery time. I will be using these people again. Read more

I changed out the oven temp probe located inside the oven, and I also changed out the temperature control which is located behind the oven temperature control knob. The whole process was simple, but it took a little bit of time since we repaired it ourselves and had to located these parts inside the oven. Read more

• Door won't open or close

I replaced the hinge due to the hinge spring breaking. To replace the hinge you do the following: 1. Disconnect power to stove, either at circuit box or at outlet. 2. Lift door off of outside hinge arms ; no screws are used to attach the door to the hinge 3. Remove two screw on under side of cook top, one on each side. 4. Disconnect cook top connector. 5. I ordered a replacement broiler element from AppliancePartsPros.com. I watched the on-line video on how to replace the broil element: this was very informative! The repair went fine, except that the broil element connector wires both retreated into the back of the stove, as was warned in the video. First, it was going to cost $95 for an appliance guy just to look at it!
