Had a repair person come into my home and he suggested a different ($200) part, labor would have been another $125. Seeing that it would cost almost $400 fix it, we were just going to buy a new oven. The next day, I called Appliancepartpros and spoke to someone from their support. I explained the symptoms and they suggested this $50 part and told me that I could return it, even if it didn't work. I ordered a replacement glass from Appliance Part Pros on Friday evening and it was delivered on Monday morning. It was packed well and I appreciated the quick delivery. I watched the Appliance Part Pros video and it was not helpful because it was for a different door but it did have some useful advice. I checked for a few other hints on the internet and then went to work. The door on my oven had to be removed by opening it to the first stop, about four inches, after removing two locking... Replaces worn, cracked, or unresponsive oven control panel touch pad. Installs on the front control display where buttons are pressed to operate functions.
I read about the particular error code on blogs online. Most people agreed that it was the keypad membrane that was not working. I have never done any repairs on an appliance, but YouTube had great videos of someone changing out that particular part. I could have ordered the part for less through an appliance supply store locally, but they did not offer any return option on electronics. I ordered through Appliance Parts Pros and they were very prompt in their delivery. I am thrilled to say... Read more
Fix burners that won't click or ignite without turning on another burner. This spark electrode creates the spark needed to light gas burners. DIY repair.
Of course, before disassembling anything, I unplugged and turned off the gas supply. To replace the spark electrode, I removed the drip pan/surface to gain access to the burner assemblies. Next, I unscrewed (with a 1/2" open-end wrench, I think) and disconnected the gas supply tubing from the burner assembly with the cracked electrode, and then unscrewed the assembly itself from the base surface. With the assembly detached, I flipped it over and removed the screw that secured the cracked... Read more

In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. After numerous hours in attempts to salvage the old burner heads and orifices attempting to remove the immovable screws, I gave up. Checked Maytag's website for parts and found nothing. Turned to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the correct parts for reasonable price in a matter of... Read more

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I got on line and Appliance Parts Pros was the first place that I found the part. I was surprised that it wasn't real expensive, but I kept looking for a cheaper price only to come back to order it from APP.
