This water outlet tube routes water within the appliance's water system, maintaining a secure, leak-resistant path to its outlet. Replace a cracked, kinked, or leaking tube to restore proper water flow and prevent leaks. What it does:
Replaced the tube. The original part number could not be found. This tube that we ordered had an curved connector at the bottom and a hard connector on top. The original tube had a right angle connector on the bottom and a smaller connector on the the top. The curve on the bottom worked. We had to cut the top connector off the tube for it to fit. We then secured it with the original metal bracket at the top. No leaks! All working fine now. Read more

This drain tube directs defrost/condensate water from the appliance's drain outlet into the drain pan, helping prevent water from pooling inside the cabinet or leaking onto the floor for reliable, mess-free operation. What it does:
I went in through the lower back of my Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator, found a duck-bill end on the existing drain tube, and removed it. I didn't need the drain tube I bought - and replacing it would have involved getting into the interior wall inside the freezer, which would have been a LOT more work. Most of my time was spent unloading the refrigerator and freezer before turning off the power. At least this gave me a... Read more
