Kitchenaid Refrigerator Switch

I watched the video on replacing the switch on a side freezer where prying out to original switch did not look difficult. I then got on the floor and tried to pry out my switch. Had a terrible time (locking tab or switch body hardened with time?) and mangled the switch terribly and the upper panel of the freezer somewhat, but the switch did come out. While the repair video is excellent, I could not remove the ice/water dispenser front panel with a putty knife. On my model, 106.56234400, there is no clip that can be released by sliding a putty knife up under the front panel. We actually were able to determine that one of the freezer switches was bad and taped it down for about 3 days. The beeping stopped. Our fridge has two freezer switches and one fridge side switch. I ordered all three from these guys. They were cheaper than Whirlpool by about $20 for parts and about $15 for shipping. THE WSHER WAS EASY BECAUSE THE DRAIN PUMP HAD TWO PENNIES INSIDE IT AND THEY CRACKED THE HOUSING.EASY FIX REPLACING THE DRAIN PUMP. WORKS LIKE A CHARM. DRYER WAS A BIT MORE WORK.I CHANGED THE IGNITER FIRST WITH YOUR ADVICE. STILL NOTHING. I THEN CHANGED THE COIL VALVE KIT. NO LUCK. NEXT WAS THE TEMP SWITCH ON THE PANEL. Our water started to hesitate before dispensing. This happened for about a week and then it stopped dispensing altogether. The ice maker was working, but when I put my ear above the dispenser, I heard no humming when depressed. Searched for a solution and watched some youtube videos and decided to try this part.
