I read about the particular error code on blogs online. Most people agreed that it was the keypad membrane that was not working. In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. I looked online for possible repair solutions when the range would not turn off. I found that the membrane switch goes bad on these models. I looked online for available parts and Appliance Parts Pros had the item in stock. I ordered and it was here the next day. After receiving the part, again, I looked online for how to replace the membrane switch and youtube video walked me through the steps. It took about an hour and now it works like new. Read more

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. Ordered two new springs and clips. Pulled out the bottom drawer and replaced the old spring and the one that had broken. This only took about ten or fifteen minutes and was very easy. Now the door works as it should. Read more
