I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. I took a multimeter and found out that the old fuse was open. I ordered this new one and popped it in. Pretty easy fix and it's still going strong. Read more

Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more

Looked online, appeared to be door switch or control panel. Tried door switch first, a $30 part. Installed new door switch and washer started right up and appears to be fixed. Have not tried full wash cycle yet, but problem appears to be fixed. I decided to buy part from AppliancePartsPros.com because I could return the part if it did not correct the problem, no one else offered such a deal. 1st we took the inside washer arms out and made sure they were clean and not blocked by something . When That failed, I called a local appliance repairman . After 2 messsges and absolutely no return call, I went on line and googled what could cause the problem. It recommended replacing the pump motor assembly . So we decided to try it. Ordered part. Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual.
