I removed the basket, studied the old adjusters before removing them, and installed the new ones using some of the old parts(adjustment levers and the covers). adjusters work like a charm.. the only tool required was a screwdriver with removable torque bit. Read more

I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing. Although none of them looked overly worn, it doesn't take much to cause the spray wands to spray inadequately. Then, I replaced the float and washer assembly. This is a 12 year old Kenmore, but my experience applies to many dishwashers. The machine had run for almost a year without being cleaned.
