Remove bottom panel, remove top panel, remove drum. Had to cut old squirrel cage off. Remove motor to remove old wheel shank. Remove belt switch, and replaced. Videos from AppliancePartPros helped a lot.. Read more

• Takes too long to dry

• Too hot

Cleaned exhaust duct, but only from the dryer/laundry room side. Replaced thermal fuse. Unit worked for about two loads and thermal fuse blew again. This time I cleaned the exhaust vent on the roof of my 2-story house. It was found to be partially obstructed and I was able to remove a significant amount of lint from it. Went on line looking on how to accomplish this and Appliance parts pro site came up and it was exactly what I needed. Order was sent on Sunday note and on Tuesday afternoon it was delivered. Just got done installing. Took longer to gather up the needed tools then to install. The instructions were awesome . complete wife great photos Read more

• Doesn't shut off

The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more
