When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum. After cleaning and inspecting components — both visually and with a multi-meter I determined the problem was the appliance doing what it was... Read more

Cleaned exhaust duct, but only from the dryer/laundry room side. Replaced thermal fuse. Unit worked for about two loads and thermal fuse blew again. Structural bracket that secures the rear panel to the washer chassis. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper alignment and cabinet stability.

I would recommend ordering an extra or two. These need springs tonfit correctly. Luckily I saved the old ones...if you don't have them, it won't work.
