There is no good diagram explaining how exactly these fit in. I had to do trial and error. The parts are quite delicate so I actually broke one trying to get it in. I would recommend ordering an extra or two. These need springs tonfit correctly. Luckily I saved the old ones...if you don't have them, it won't work. Cleaned exhaust duct, but only from the dryer/laundry room side. Replaced thermal fuse. Unit worked for about two loads and thermal fuse blew again. We got the heater core kit. Unplug, undo two screws and pulled old one out. Looking at the old one, put the new one together and then mounted it back in place. Turned on dryer but no heat so unplugged it, tapped on elements, plugged back in and it worked. Not to hard. Read more

When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I decided the problem was with the gas valve and I found the part on your web site. I ordered it and received the part in 3 days. I replaced the valve and the dryer works like new! This also gave me an opportunity to vacuum out the dust/lint that collects in and around the dryer. Read more

The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. Remove bottom panel, remove top panel, remove drum. Had to cut old squirrel cage off. Remove motor to remove old wheel shank. Remove belt switch, and replaced. Videos from AppliancePartPros helped a lot.. Read more
