This control panel assembly provides the user interface and housing for the oven/microwave control electronics, restoring button and display operation for timed, cooking and setting functions. What it does:

This is a Whirlpool range control panel. It houses the display, user interface buttons, and has space for temperature control knobs. With extended use, the buttons on a control panel may wear out or stop responding to user input.Before installing this part, be sure to cut power to the appliance and allow it to cool completely. The stove may need to be pulled away from the wall to access the screws holding the old control panel in place. Remove the screws from each side of the old control panel to disconnect it, then carefully remove any boards or other components installed within the panel.
