White plastic oven door handle for electric and gas ranges. Replaces cracked, broken, or damaged handles. Installs on outer door panel with screws.
The parts arrived in short time. Had to go to YouTube to learn how to get the door off. My range is about 2004 model. The YouTube video I found did not represent my installation but gave me enough information to remove the clip so the hinge could come free. Installing the handle was difficult to impossible to get the attaching screw in. I finally had to drill out the screw receptacle a bit to where I could get the screw in. Turned the power off. Lifted the oven door up and off.to make access easier and to clean an replace gasket.Then unscrewed the element brackets. Cleaned oven. Took oven door apart to replace gasket ,you have to separate the door halves to clean window and get the gasket out. This is where you better take pictures and notes. Had to take door apart which was no big deal and the screws for the handle were accessed from the inside. Whole job took about half an hour.
