Talk about ugly clogs! Watched second video to see how that lower arm comes off. Got the lower arm off and realized all the gunk I was able to poke out of the holes would just come back, so replaced both spray arms. YES, the upper arm includes the retaining clip!! Snap-in outlet connector that secures the upper spray arm assembly to the dishwasher. Replace if cracked, stripped, or won't hold the arm securely.
I was unable to remove the screwed snap outlet, therefore only replaced the upper spray arm and the wash arm retaining clip. This fixed the problem. It would have been helpful if a tip were given as how to remove the screwed in outlet snap nut. Read more
