This is a control knob for a gas range surface burner, used to turn the burner on and off and adjust the flame level. It fits onto the valve stem on the control panel. Replace this knob if it is cracked, broken, or if the markings are worn off, making it difficult to set the correct heat level.

Fix a gas burner that won't light or only lights intermittently with this surface burner igniter. Creates the spark needed to ignite gas at the burner.
Color: black. It measures about 2 inches in diameter.
Replaced igniter under each burner knob. Used needle nose pliers to remove the electrical connections (2) of the igniter then slipped it off the gas valve shaft. Replaced with new igniter (click in place) and replaced electrical connectors. Took about 15 minutes to complete. Read more
