This is the outer door frame found on microwave ovens. It is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The door frame is made of heavy-duty plastic but could crack or warp over time with heavy use. If the door frame breaks, it should be replaced. This door frame does not include the handles. If the handles are broken, those will need to be purchased separately.To start, disconnect the power from the microwave. A screwdriver is required to install the outer door frame. Remove the door handles from the frame. The handles are screwed in from the inside of the door. Remove the interior door panel and unscrew the handles. Set the handles and screws to the side. Unsnap the front panel from the door and discard it. Line the new panel up and push it in place until it snaps. Reinstall the door handles and interior door panel. Connect the power and make sure the door opens and closes correctly.This door frame is made of black plastic and is sold individually. It is designed for use on microwave ovens manufactured by General Electric and Hotpoint.
