A mulching blade has a unique curved or angled design that allows discharging, bagging, and mulching. If its edges are already dull, it can lead to longer mowing time and frayed and torn grass blades. Mulching blade installation is easy. First, unplug the spark plug wire. Then, position the lawnmower on its side. Get a woodblock, preferably 6 x 2 in size, and put it between the old blade and housing deck. Make sure that the wood will prevent the old blade from moving. Take a socket wrench and remove the blade’s nut and washer. Remove the old blade and put the new mulching blade in. Put the nut and washer back and tighten until it is secured. You can use the woodblock to prevent the replacement blade from moving when it is tightened. This mulching blade replacement s an original MTD product. This OEM mulching blade can be used for MTD, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Murray, Yard-Man, and Bolens lawnmower models. This brand-new mulching blade is sold individually. The support blade and screw hex are sold separately.

This blade adapter is made to attach a lawn mower cutting blade to the drive shaft of a push mower. Though it is made of sturdy metal and is tightly fastened to the mower's drive, the adapter and blade may wear and loosen over time. This can present a dangerous situation as well as poor cutting performance for the blade. Also, each adapter has a small insert tab that fits into the blade attachment. This tab, called a “key,” is actually a shear pin. Should the blade strike a solid object, the key will sheer off, preventing the blade from coming loose or suffering irreparable damage. The solution to either of these problems is to replace the blade adapter. The blade itself should be closely examined to make sure it fits the new adapter with no wobble or slack. To replace the blade adapter, turn the mower on its side with the air filter on top. Use a ratchet to remove the bolt that attaches the blade and adapter to the drive shaft. Make certain to fit the new adapter key into the keyway on the shaft. Always use a replacement part like this one, that is OEM certified to be identical to the original. This blade adapter is compatible with Ryobi, Yard Machines, Yard Man, Huskee, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, MTD, and Bolens mowers.

This OEM part is sold individually, and it works with edgers from a range of brands, including Craftsman, Yard Machines, MTD, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, and Yard-Man.
A blade is the part of chippers and shredders that cuts the grass. It spins rapidly and pulls the grass up before cutting it. The grass is sucked into the deck, where the clippings continue to get chopped into smaller pieces before getting expelled. With regular use of the blade, after accidental damage, or because of the age of the machine, the blade may cease to perform adequately. Running the lawn equipment over rocks or other solid obstacles may also cause the blade to break. In any case, the blade has to be removed, and a new blade should be installed. Wear gloves for protection and handle the blade with caution. Make sure the machine is cooled entirely before beginning the repair. This blade is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is made of durable, high-quality metal. This is a chipper blade, which is installed on wood chippers and is used for cutting up pieces of wood into small chunks. Chipper blades need to be sharpened at least once a year or after about 25 hours of use. If the chipper blades aren't maintained, they will become dull and won't provide the required level of cutting power needed for wood chippers. If wood chips from the chipper are uneven, shredded, or rough, then sharpening or replacement may be needed. Make sure to take out the spark plug before the hopper is removed and connected to the tool. Next, remove the housing around the blades and the rotor assembly. The bolts around the blades can be taken off using an Allen wrench. Remove the blades, but be sure that work gloves are used to prevent injury. The replacement blade can be installed at this time. This is an OEM replacement chipper blade that can be used on wood chippers from Craftsman, MasterCut, Cub Cadet, Yard-Man, Yard Machines, and MTD. It's sold individually and comes directly from the manufacturer. The replacement will require an Allen wrench set, a wrench set, a socket set, and pliers.
