Looked at new part and realized there were only 2 screws that held the flap onto the door. Removed 2 caps off of screws with small knife and saved them. Removed 2 screws and the flap fell off into my hands. Disconnected wire harness. Connected wire harness for new flap and carefully pushed harness back into recess in door. Put screws back with caps. The blower motor that circulates air through the refrigerator was broken. I had to remove all the shelving and drawers from the refrigerator. Then I had to remove the plastic light cover from the center of the fridge. Then I removed all visible screws to uncover the evaporator/radiator. I then unplugged the light bulb and motor wires. Found one of the drain valves was clogged causing condensation to overflow on the floor behind the refrigerator. Order the parts on Monday morning and they arrived tuesday afternoon. Replace both of the valves in 15 minutes. Easy repair and save a bundle over a service call. Read more

I took all the items out of the refrigerator. Removed the screws that hold the cover over the evaporator motor. Than for three hours used a hair drier to remove ice. The panel was frozen on if you pull on it it will break. Soaked up all the water removed the panel and took the fan blade off. That was difficult because it looks like a regular screw head however, you need to push in that which will cause it to release the blades and than push it onto the new motor. I have a Samsung fridge and I had a problem were low pressure water kept coming out of the dispenser and would not stop. At first I thought it was the dispenser switch until I read reviews on the App Pro sight and the issue pointed to the water valve. Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place.The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more

I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. Ordered replacement gasket. Old one was removed bybgrabbing a corner and pulling. It is a simple push in gasket. No disassembly of the door required. No tools other than my fingers needed it install the new gasket. Quick and easy. Read more
