Designed for use with a wide range of string trimmers, this momentary switch is a genuine OEM replacement part. A momentary switch, also known as a kill switch, is a safety precaution that kills an appliance's engine in a moment, even if the engine is not set to the off position. This helps prevent accidents if the operator begins to lose control of the trimmer. At the touch of a button, the engine cuts and cannot be restarted for a short period (usually about five seconds). This product is the chainsaw's engine cylinder, which holds fuel ignited by the spark plug. It fits into the existing chamber and houses the pistons during use.
