Canton August 11, 2016 for Model Number RF24FSEDBSR/AA-0000 there is frost build up in back of ice maker.. we used hair dryer to melt and then put ice bin back in but now nothing do we need a new ice maker and is there a how to video to install.. there do not seem to be any gaps.. no water in water trough.. we are happy to get new ice maker the part you listed is the new ice make? will this solve problem. Minhtam T July 26, 2016 for Model Number RS2545SH/XAA My son pulled the ice tray out of the refrigerator to get ice. Now I can not push it back all the way to its original place. If I force the door I can close the door, but if I open the freezer door, the tray slide down. I still have ice. What is your advice?

Goes for days without dumping ice than dumps for no apparent reason. Tried the reset button. Reset button chimes but does nothing else. Bucket never fills. Temp of freezer is 0°. Water pressure is good. Is it the icemaker or the motherboard?

Joe June 05, 2016 for Model Number RF263BEAEBC Ice Maker DA9712317A I am getting Ice Dams and freeze ups above the ice maker. Not sure if fill sensor is bad or solenoid is letting too much water in. I have no dripping water in the bin. This unit has always not produced full cubes at the dispensor, just crushed. Any ideas on that fix?
1 Answer Joe, With there being a ice dam above the icemaker then this would most likely be an issue of the water valve seeping and allowing a trickle of water to flow into the icemaker. This would require a new water valve for this issue.
