Jon September 20, 2011 My top load washer leaks water when being used. I took a look and it seems to be coming from the back of pump(side closest to motor) the shaft connecting them is rusted up and is wet. Does this mean the pump is cracked?
1 Answer Hello Jon. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the pump WP3363394 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
Reggie September 20, 2011 I have a top load washer. I am not sure the model number but when I run a cycle it dumps water on the floor. I took a look under the machine and it seems that the water is leaking in between the pump and the motor. The shaft connecting the two is rusty and wet with water. I would guess that the plastic pump has a crack by the shaft or a seal has worn out. Would this be the case?
1 Answer Hello Reggie. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the pump WP3363394 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
Mike September 10, 2011 for Model Number 11082980110 WASHER SEEMS TO BE OPERATING NORMAL,HOWEVER AFTER SPINNING CYCLE THE WATER DRAINS BUT CLOTHES ARE STILL TOO WET.WOULD THIS BE A WEAK WATER PUMP OR ANOTHER ISSUE?
1 Answer Mike, Its probably another issue, You need to check for the washer tub spin with the tub empty, and check for a possible kink in the drain hose. Use a flashlight and look for an article stuck between the tubs or between the top of the tub and tub cover. If all's OK, you'll need to suspect a slipping clutch in the drive system, Thanks Read More...
Garry August 28, 2011 for Model Number 3359220 I'm not sure if this is the model # or not 3359220(only number on washer after 15 years of great service). The washer wont agitate or spin. You can hear what sounds like a motor running. When you turn agitator by hand it has resistance. I was told it is a direct drive unit. Not sure what is wrong or how to fix.
1 Answer Hi Garry. If you can lift and tilt your unit backwards it will help you to see. If there is a hand full of black rubber chunks/dust then you will need to replace the motor coupler assy. This part # is 285753A. If you will find the exact model # inside the lid @ 12:00 position this will help- us to assist you further. Thank you. Read More...

Manuel S. August 24, 2011 for Model Number llr8233d The supper spliced the one inch drain hose connected to the pump's drain outlet by using a half inch copper diameter nipple to lenghten the hose in order to reach the waste line. The washer work fine, for a few times but, now it hardly drains. I checked the water pump and hoses found no obstructions and the pump's inner blade is spinning ok, but I still have the same draining problem. I was thinkin that the nipples smaller diameter may be the problem by causing the pump to work harder. Do I have a good guess and solution, cause I may need is to replace the hose with the proper diameter?
1 Answer Hi Manual. Is the drain hose lower than the tub? The drain pipe / standpipe has to have length to accept the constant flow of drain. Can you use the 10' length hose part # is 285666? The regular hose is part # 285664. There is a 21" drain extension if you need this also it is part # 285702. The pump is part # WP3363394. Thank you. Read More...

Ashley August 04, 2011 for Model Number ETW4300SQ0 My washer will run water into the tub, but it will not fill up. It just drains the water right back out in a continuous cycle? Could this be the water pump? Or does it have something to do with the timer?
1 Answer Hello Ashley. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the drain hose may be siphoning. You will need to check and see if the drain hose is to far inside the drain pipe. Also, make sure it is not to low behind the machine. If so, it can cause the water to siphon out of the tub. Make sure the drain hose is high enough to create an air gap. Hope this helps.
