Hello Pacho. You will need to remove the outer cabinet and see where it is leaking from. Disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the two screws in the back corners of the control panel securing the control panel. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. Hope this helps.

Hello Dave. Yes, they can leak in that location. Usually, it is caused by spinning the machine without water in the pump WP3363394. Hope this helps.

Pete, It should be relatively easy to turn, little to no drag, when you turn the impeller. Sounds like the seal in the impeller had failed and leaked, also caused the shaft to start to seize. Good Luck and Thanks

Hello DBR. You will need to check and see if the drain hose is to far inside the drain pipe causing the machine to siphon out. Also, is the drain hose is air tight with the drain pipe and can not get air, it will siphon as well. Hope this helps.

Hi Claudette. Remove power. Tilt and support the unit up and back. Is there any black dust under the center area of the floor? If so the motor coupler will need replaced, part # 285753A. This couples the motor and the transmission together.Take the sump ( intake ) hose off the pump and look inside the hose to see if anything like clothes is inside it. Remove the hose off the tub and look in the tub end to see if your block is there. Thank You.

Daniel for Model Number LSR6132HQ1 Whirlpool

After wash and rinse, no water is in basket(where clothes get dropped into) but water is not fully drained out of the outer basket. (I believe this sitting water underneath is the cause of some smell coming from washer) No leaking on underneath on tile floor. How do I know if pump or timer is to blame? I am going to open up in 2 days (Sat) and see if drain leading to pump is clogged other than that, how do I test for timer vs. pump?

Hello Daniel. If the unit goes into spin cycle and does not drain, and the hoses are not clogged, you will need to replace the pump assembly WP3363394. Check and see if the spindle on the pump is stripped out. Hope this helps.

Hi Brittany. Remove power. Use a dozen towels and a shop vac for the water pick up. 2- options. A- completely remove the cabinet for total accessibility to parts - or - B , Pull the unit out 3/4 of the floor area and lean it back. The first option is to loosen the control panel screws and flip the control up and backwards. Then unhook the lid switch. Then remove the top 2- brass colored clips that hold the cabinet to the frame and back. Open the lid and reach inside the top lip at 6:00. Lift up and "unhook" the front lower / cabinet to the frame. Walk backwards and "undress" the unit. You will be able to hand access the pump. Or on the lifted unit, you can also unhook each intake and output hose(make sure you know where each one goes). Use a big flat blade screwdriver to unclasp the top and bottom clips from the motor to the pump. Pull the pump off the shaft. Clean all carpet backing from the hoses and the pump part # WP3363394. Reassemble in reverse. Make sure that you are fully aware of the top frame locator's tabs as the inside cabinet lower areas rely on proper placement so the top / back clips align correctly. Thank you.
