- Channels air along the cabinet base to support consistent cooling and compressor ventilation
- Prevents debris from entering the cabinet opening and interfering with components
- Stops drafts or noise caused by a loose or damaged vent piece
- Improves finished appearance where the original vent is cracked or missing

- Disconnect power before servicing any appliance components
