This surface burner grate is a heavy-duty cast-iron support for cookware on your gas range or cooktop. Replacing a damaged grate restores a stable, level cooking surface and proper pan height over the flame. What it does:

Install notes:
- Turn off burners and allow the cooktop to cool completely before servicing
- Lift off the old grate and clean the mounting surface if needed
- Position the new grate in the same orientation so it sits flat and fully seated

Tappen Gas Stove circa 1981 (uses Fridgidaire parts). Unplugged stove from 110 wall outlet.
