Small fire due to spill. Laura C. • Beaver Falls , PA • May 09, 2017
I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder.

Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00423022
Solenoid valve controls the appliance's water inlet using an electrically actuated plunger to open and close flow. Replacing a failing valve helps restore proper filling and can stop leaks, overfilling, or no-fill conditions. What it does
- Electrically opens and closes the inlet to allow water into the appliance during fill cycles.
- Shuts off water flow when the valve is de-energized to prevent overfilling.
- Common symptom fixes: no water fill, continuous filling, visible leaks at the inlet, or related fill/flood error codes.
- Interfaces with the appliance inlet hose and the electrical connector for timed/controlled fill cycles.
What's included
Install notes
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before starting any repair.
- Handle electrical connectors carefully; ensure correct orientation and a secure connection.
- Inspect and replace any worn seals, gaskets, or hoses to prevent leaks after installation.

This is my go-to site to fix the appliances around the house. The pressure regulator behind the stove was leaking and some of the burner valves would not shut off completely. I ordered the parts here and was able to replace the old parts quickly. Now the stove works as it should with no leaks. Thanks, AppliancePartsPros.com!
