Was told 2 burners had no ignition or gas and 2 others had gas but wouldn't ignite Charles W. • Granger , IN • December 16, 2014
Bought a Thermador PRSE48" dual fuel range from Craigslist really cheap because it didn't work. Did a little research and decided to overhaul most of the top (gas) end. For what I paid for it it was worth it and I'd have a good stove with new components. Had to replace 2 gas lines, all 4 jets, and one brass nut that were...

A failed stove top burner valve Robert S. • Ventura , CA • December 08, 2015
After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel. Then pulled all the knobs and removed the front panel which was held in by two Phillips screws accessible from underneath the panel. It helps to open the oven door to get at these screws. With the knob panel gone, I removed two screws...

Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 5303935306
This safety valve controls gas flow to the oven burner, opening only when the ignition system calls for heat. Replacing a weak or stuck valve restores reliable ignition and consistent oven temperatures for safe, dependable baking and roasting. What it does:
- Regulates and shuts off gas to the oven burner circuit
- Works with the igniter; opens only when proper current is present
- Fails closed to help prevent unlit gas from entering the oven
- Common symptoms may include: oven won't heat, intermittent heating, very long preheat, or a weak/unstable flame
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off gas supply before servicing
- Label and transfer all tubing and wires from the original valve one-for-one
- Support flare fittings with two wrenches; use thread sealant only on NPT threads (never on flare connections)
- After installation, restore gas and check every joint for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution

I had two gas valves that were leaking. Marc L. • Santa Barbara , CA • February 17, 2023
I called AppliancePartsPros.com to see if they carried the parts that I needed. They knew what parts I needed and they were in stock. When the valves arrived I took the stove apart and replaced the valves. The valves were easy to replace with a minimum amount of tools: A screwdriver, adjustable end wrench, and a 1/4" drive socket set. I have all the tools necessary to do this job, but if I didn't and had to buy them, it would still be less expensive than hiring a repair person to do this job...
