I ordered a filter housing, some plastic tubes to replace the leaking one and en extra connector which came really handy. I followed the videos and replaced parts pretty easily. It could have been done in as little as 15 minutes. But I started getting leaks and took me a while to play with water lines and changing connectors to stop the leak. Then I had to test it a few times to make sure it won't leak again. Read more

First, verified that water filter wasn't the problem by removing it and installing bypass plug. Second, verified that water was flowing from supply valve by disconnecting line to automatic water valve and observing flow into a bucket. Third, verified automatic water valve was functioning correctly by connecting supply line directly to automatic water valve. Tried several new filters. Finally replacing housing fixed problem. Could not find any obvious defect in the housing, however, when pushing real hard on the filter door,water would flow.Seems to be some transfer valve inside housing body not properly actuated. Read more
